HP Photosmart C4480 Review.

The HP Photosmart C4480 is a decent quality printer for the home or for the use of a student. However this printer has a very slow speed and some problems that you would want to consider before making a purchase.

The HP Photosmart C4480 is a multi function color inkjet printer that comes at a reasonable price. The printer is inexpensive and has several features that are worthwhile to note. You cannot use this printer to do double sided copies. Further the tray that holds the input and output is located in the same location. This type of tray system is not worthwhile and could be somewhat overwhelming for the user and a bit of a messy process for some reasons considered. The HP Photosmart C4480 is a printer that looks sleek in design and has a scanner on the top that opens simply but does not have the capacity in which you can scan from books or thicker documents very easily.

This printer has a very small LCD screen and there are a number of uses for this screen. One great use is in combination with the memory card slots in which one is able to view and print pictures. Also the control panel allows the user to be able to do a number of functions. There are a number of ways that you can use this to be able to make copies or even to scan directly to your computer.

The printed pages are of a high quality with this printer but there were some functions that were not available. This printer printed black and white pages in a relatively quick time span however in order to print colored pages you would have to wait much longer. Some of the colors could be distorted as well and sometime photographs have been known to print and look somewhat grainy. Overall the different cartridges for this printer are expensive and therefore to print pages it ends up being rather expensive for colored copies or prints. Further depending on the quality of the prints you might end up paying even more money if you are using this printer.

Many users of the HP Photosmart C4480 are happy with the overall quality of this printer. However there are those who would not be happy as the upkeep for printing is rather expensive, there are problems with the types of printing available and the overall quality being low. If you are looking for a printer that will work for basic uses since this one is affordable it might be a good option for you.
